Air medical transport company Medjet has expanded its Covid-19 transportation benefits. The company will now transport members who contract Covid-19 around the globe to their home hospital of choice.
Last fall, Medjet announced it would transport members with Covid-19, but only from the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
The change, Medjet CEO Mike Hallman said in a statement, comes as more international borders reopen to travelers.
Membership prices will not increase as a result of the change. Plans begin at $99 for short-term international trips.
Medjet offers members emergency air transportation if they become ill abroad.
