So, what can you do with two extra days in the park? If you haven’t been to Disney World in the last year, there’s a lot to see and do. Disney’s Hollywood Studios debuted some major additions, from the incredibly immersive and thrilling Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction (which opened last December) to the first-ever Mickey and Minnie-themed ride, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway (which opened in March just before the parks closed amid the pandemic).
The iconic Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom got a makeover this summer, making it an even better backdrop for your vacation photos. And Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is scheduled to reopen on March 7 — it remained closed after the parks reopened this summer, but it will be kicking off its 25th season this spring. Plus, the Park Hopper benefit is returning in 2021, so guests will be able to visit more than one theme park per day after 2 p.m.
Of course, health and safety measures are still in place across the resort, and theme park reservations (in addition to valid admission) are required for entry. You can check theme park reservation availability at any time on the Disney World website.
