A canine travel guide has been launched so furry friends can pick their ideal holiday destination.
Following a rise in the number of pet owners wanting to holiday with their four-legged friend, a home swapping platform has launched the world’s first travel guide for dogs.
The five-minute film has been developed with an animal expert to engage directly with dogs, using the sounds and images they find most appealing.
The travelogue aims to give pet owners an insight into their pooch’s ideal trip, and helps them understand whether they fancy a coastal, countryside or city break – and has been developed with pet behaviourist Professor Peter Neville.

Viewers are taken on a tour of potential actives and locations, in perfectly calibrated colours and heightened contrast. The footage also follows pups trotting through forests and splashing in the sea, and features doggy delights including balls, trees and lamp posts.
Prof Peter Neville, who advised on the production of the film, said: “Any dog owner will tell you that their pet can understand so much more than others realise.
"It’s a perfect time to strengthen the pet-owner bond and make special memories together.”
Love Home Swap released the unique viewing experience following an increase in demand for pet-friendly home swaps.
