The best restaurants in the UK have been revealed. AA Rosettes have been given out since 1956 to the best restaurants in the country.
Recognising “the highest culinary standards in the UK”, AA Rosettes are a sought-after recognition for restaurants all over the country.
Last week, AA named its 2021 winners in a virtual ceremony.
Receiving four Rosettes is an acknowledgement of a restaurant being one of the top establishments in the country.
Simon Numphud, Managing Director at AA Media said: “As the hospitality sector reopens after a challenging year, it is an honour to be able to recognise those restaurants achieving the highest levels of gastronomic excellence.
“All 2021 Rosette winners deserve to be celebrated, with each one demonstrating the exceptional culinary standards being offered to diners across the country.”

Three restaurants were awarded four Rosettes.
Forest Side in Grasmere, Cumbria
Forest Side has one Michelin star and is getting rave reviews.
Using fresh, seasonal local products, head chef Paul Leonard offers a modern menu that evolves with the seasons.
On Tripadvisor, Laura Chapman said: “Delicious food.
“We had the lunch tasting menu with a lovely red wine. The tasting menu was incredible, all the flavours were delicious. It had a good range of meals. It was six courses, but we also had complimentary snacks to start, which was a nice surprise.
“The experience of dining here was excellent. I will definitely be returning and recommending it to many people.”
Mana in Manchester
Mana serves Nordic-influenced dishes on a cobbled Manchester street.
The one Michelin star restaurant is headed by chef Simon Martin and has a commitment to sustainable gastronomy.
On Tripadvisor, Vinz Cassel said:” Phenomenal! The best there is in Manchester.”
Harriet said: “A totally unforgettable experience. From the moment you enter the restaurant you are taken on a journey.
“Mana will not disappoint! The food is out of this world with so much care and attention to detail put into every single dish.
“You will even get to sit and watch your meal being carefully prepared!
“The wine paring is fantastic and my partner had the none alcoholic pairing which was also fantastic.”
Tuddenham Mill in Newmarket, Suffolk
Headed by local chef Lee Bye, the Michelin Guide restaurant, Tuddenham Mill has won another Rosette this year, bringing its total to four.
On Tripadvisor, Julie C wrote: “The Food was utterly amazing. So delicious my mouth is watering writing this.”
A further 16 restaurants have been awarded three Rosettes.
Three Rosettes are awarded to “outstanding restaurants achieving standards which demand national recognition well beyond their local area”.
