Cromer Beach in Norfolk is expected to be the warmest British beach in the UK during autumn.
Temperatures on average reach 17 degrees, making it the perfect spot for an autumnal stroll.
Cromer has a wide sand and shingle beach and many of the town’s buildings date back to the Victorian era.
The town is famous for its lobsters and crabs and the season lasts until October, so Britons still have time to enjoy one.
Porthcurno Beach in Cornwall was the second warmest spot with an average temperature of 13 degrees in autumn.
The award-winning beach has soft white sand while the sea has a stunning turquoise colour in the sun.
Dogs are welcome on the beach during the autumn and the beach was even used as a filming location for Poldark.
Tourists can also pay a visit to the incredible Minack Theatre or take a guided walk with the site’s gardeners.
Another Cornish beach was the third warmest spot in the UK for an autumn seaside staycation.
Kynance Cove took the third spot and has average temperatures of 13 degrees during the autumn.
Birling Gap beach in East Sussex was the fourth warmest spot but the second sunniest in the UK.
The beach enjoys an average of 5.8 sunny hours during autumn and offers stunning cliffside views.
Studland Bay in Dorset was the fourth warmest spot and is a gorgeous beach managed by the National Trust.
Tourists can go on kayaking trips if the weather is warm enough and the unspoilt beach is popular with local residents.
Barafundle Beach was the warmest spot in Wales and is a small bay backed by dunes and pine trees.
The stunning beach is only accessible by a half a mile walk and offers golden sands and crystal clear waters.
